Bethany Ekdom
Campus Staff
Bethany grew up in Allen, Texas and graduated in 2017 from Texas A&M University (whoop!). While her degree in School Health gave her a deep passion for health education, throughout college she always thought of the RUF internship as a total dream job. After being proven right through her three years of interning at the University of Tulsa, Bethany felt called to continue serving through RUF Tulsa as Campus Staff!
Rock climbing, hiking, board games, road trips, live music, and watching and making movies are a few things she enjoys. She is grateful God has called her to such an amazing city, and considers it a great privilege to be a part of God's work by loving and serving the students of TU.

Connor Childers
Intern
Connor Childers is a proud graduate of Georgia Tech (2019) with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He was born in Hawaii and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta. It was in college that Connor got involved with RUF and learned the beauty of Christian community and loving others through it. He is excited to be in Tulsa where he is able to care for others through the same experiences he underwent. In Connor's free time he enjoys frisbee, board games, and Super Smash Bros.

Leah Riser
Intern
Leah was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from Ole Miss in May 2020. She received a degree in Psychology with a minor in education. Leah loves being artistic and spending time outside. She loves traveling, ice cream, meeting new people and spending time with friends and family. Leah is very excited to be the new intern at the University of Tulsa, and she can't wait to see what the Lord has in store.
